PrimeLoad Trailers is committed to fair, clear terms on every trailer we sell. Because trailers are high-value capital purchases, the following policy outlines what is and isn’t eligible for return, the conditions that apply, and how to request a return or cancellation.
The 30-day return window has conditions
Read this section carefully before you buy. A 30-day return is available, but only when every one of the following conditions is met. If any condition is not met, the trailer is not eligible for return.
To qualify for a return, the trailer must:
- Not be registered or titled in your name with any DMV
- Not have been used for hauling, work, or any commercial activity
- Show no visible wear to tires, braking components, axle hardware, or structural elements
- Remain in substantially the same condition as at delivery
- Not have been altered, modified, or damaged after delivery
PrimeLoad Trailers reserves the right to inspect the trailer before approving a refund.
How to request a return
Return requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days from the date of delivery. Email sales@primeloadtrailers.com with your order number, the reason for the return, and supporting photos. Requests received after the 30-day window are not eligible.
Restocking fee
If the return is the result of customer choice (you changed your mind, the trailer doesn’t fit your needs after delivery, etc.) and not a verified error or fault by PrimeLoad Trailers, a 10% restocking fee is deducted from the refund amount.
If the return is the result of a verified error or misrepresentation by PrimeLoad Trailers, no restocking fee applies.
Return shipping costs
If the return is due to our error, we cover return transportation. If the return is due to customer choice or circumstances not caused by us, the customer is responsible for return transportation costs.
Original delivery fees are refundable only when the return is due to a verified error by PrimeLoad Trailers.
Deposits and order cancellations
We require a deposit prior to delivery. If you cancel before the trailer ships and no delivery has occurred, your deposit is fully refundable.
If a trailer has already shipped, the standard 30-day return policy above applies.
Delivery damage claims
Inspect your trailer carefully on arrival. Damage claims must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. We will coordinate directly with the transport company to resolve verified damage claims.
Failure to report damage within 72 hours may affect eligibility for damage claims.
Refund processing
Once a return is approved and the trailer has been received and inspected, refunds are issued within 5-7 business days to the original payment method (bank wire or card). Bank or card processing times can vary.
