Every trailer on primeloadtrailers.com ships free to all 50 US states. The price you see is the price you pay — no shipping fee added at checkout, no surcharge, no minimum order.
Section 1. Shipping Coverage
We ship trailers to all 50 US states. Free nationwide delivery is included on every trailer in our inventory, there is no separate shipping charge at checkout, no minimum order, and no surcharge for distance. The shipping cost is built into the listed price of each trailer. We do not currently ship to Canada, Mexico, or any international destination.
Section 2. Delivery Method
All trailers are delivered via licensed third-party freight carriers. Most trailers are loaded onto a flatbed or wheel-lift transport and delivered curbside to a residential or commercial address you provide. The carrier requires a paved or compacted level surface for offloading, with adequate clearance for the trailer dimensions.
For local customers: pickup from our Woodland, WA lot is also available at no charge, call (360) 225-6789 to arrange a pickup time during business hours (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm PT, Sat 10am-4pm PT).
Section 3. Delivery Timeline
Typical delivery time after order confirmation:
- East Coast (Maine through North Carolina): 3-7 business days
- Midwest and Southeast: 5-10 business days
- West Coast and Mountain States: 7-14 business days
- Alaska and Hawaii (where applicable): 14-30 business days
Delivery times are estimates based on carrier capacity and current inventory location. Severe weather, holidays, or carrier delays may extend timelines. We provide live tracking once dispatch is confirmed.
Section 4. Tracking and Communication
You’ll receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase. Within 1-2 business days, our shipping team will contact you to confirm the delivery address, schedule a delivery window, and provide carrier tracking information. You’ll receive direct contact information for the carrier handling your shipment.
Section 5. Receiving Your Trailer
Inspect your trailer carefully at the time of delivery before signing the bill of lading. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before the carrier leaves. Photograph any damage. Contact us at sales@primeloadtrailers.com or (360) 225-6789 within 72 hours of delivery to file a damage claim. Damage claims filed after the bill of lading is signed without notation may not be eligible for resolution.
Section 6. Pre-Shipment Inspection
Every trailer leaves our Woodland, WA lot only after a documented pre-shipment inspection. Our team verifies the build matches the listed specifications, confirms tires and bearings are roadworthy, checks lights and brake controllers, and walks through the deck, sidewall, frame, coupler, and welds for transit damage. Each inspection is logged before the trailer is released to the carrier.
Section 7. Curbside Delivery Walkthrough
“Curbside” delivery means the driver positions the trailer at the closest legally accessible spot on a paved or compacted surface near the address you provided. Here is exactly what happens on delivery day:
- The carrier calls you 24-48 hours before arrival to confirm the delivery window. An adult must be present at the address to sign the bill of lading.
- The driver unloads the trailer onto the surface using a wheel-lift, flatbed tilt, or roll-off depending on trailer type. The site needs roughly 60-80 feet of straight clearance for a typical 16-24 ft trailer, more for goosenecks and lowboys.
- The driver hands over the keys (where applicable), the title, the manufacturer paperwork, and the bill of lading.
- Inspect the trailer for transit damage before you sign the bill of lading. Note any damage on the receipt and photograph it. Damage claims filed after a clean bill of lading is signed are difficult to resolve.
- The driver does not assist with hookup to your tow vehicle, title work at the DMV, or interior loading. Those are buyer responsibilities.
If your address requires backing into a narrow driveway, gated community, dirt or gravel access, or any non-standard maneuver, tell us before purchase so we can confirm carrier compatibility.
Section 8. Title, Registration, and State Requirements
You are responsible for registering and titling the trailer in your state of residence after delivery. Requirements vary by state. The carrier hands you a Manufacturer Statement of Origin (MSO) or a clean state title (depending on whether the unit is new or used), a bill of sale showing the price you paid, and the bill of lading documenting the delivery.
- New trailers ship with an MSO. Bring the MSO, our bill of sale, and your photo ID to your state DMV or tag office to title and register.
- Used trailers ship with a transferred state title. The title is signed over to you by PrimeLoad as the seller of record.
- Sales tax is collected by your home state DMV at registration, not by PrimeLoad. We do not collect sales tax at point of sale. Be prepared for state and county sales tax, title fee, registration fee, and (where applicable) personal property tax assessments.
- Heavy or commercial use trailers (over 10,000 lb GVWR, or used for-hire) may also require a US DOT number, IRP/IFTA registration, or apportioned plates. Confirm with your state Department of Transportation.
If you need assistance navigating your state’s titling process, email sales@primeloadtrailers.com and we will share our documented checklist by state.
Section 9. Address Changes and Reschedules
If you need to change the delivery address or reschedule the delivery window after carrier dispatch, contact us immediately. Address changes after pickup may incur carrier rerouting fees that we will pass through at cost. Reschedules within 48 hours of confirmed delivery may incur waiting/storage fees from the carrier.
