Low profile means easier side loading and a shorter, less-steep ramp angle when using ladder ramps. Trade-off: bed width is limited to 81 inches between fenders versus 84+ inches on a deckover.
Single cylinder vs scissor lift on this size dump?
Single cylinder is simpler, cheaper, and tilts to about 45 degrees, which is enough for 95 percent of contractor loads. Scissor lift tilts the entire bed evenly and reaches a higher dump angle (60+ degrees) but adds about 1,500 dollars to the price. For mixed contractor work, single cylinder is the practical choice.
