Why Premier?
Premier is Vermont-built, one of the few remaining trailer manufacturers in the Northeast. Short supply chain means parts and warranty support stay close to home for buyers in the Eastern US. Premier’s design priorities lean toward salt-belt durability (galvanized hardware, sealed harnesses, weather-resistant electrical) which makes them a popular choice for snow removal operators and coastal contractors. The 7×14 LP is their volume-seller in the dump trailer category.
What Can You Haul?
- 3 yards of crushed stone (10,330 lb payload absorbs the weight comfortably)
- 4 yards of mulch or topsoil
- Loaded skid steer (Bobcat S70 = 4,400 lb) plus 2 attachments
- 9,000 lb of asphalt millings or RAP
- Snow and ice-melt for plow operations
Free Nationwide Delivery
PrimeLoad runs free-included delivery to all 50 US states on every dump trailer in our inventory. East Coast and Midwest: 5 to 10 business days. West Coast and rural: 7 to 14 days. The driver hands over the title, keys, and bill of lading at the curb. Full shipping policy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a leftover or used?
Leftover means brand-new, never-titled inventory from a previous model year. Same warranty as current-year stock. Pricing typically runs 5-10 percent below current model year. Different from used (titled previously, has miles).
Why electric brakes on all 4 wheels?
4-wheel brakes are required at 14,000 lb GVWR for safe stopping. Some trailer makers use 4-wheel as standard; others charge for it. Premier includes 4-wheel as standard at this size.
What does “power up gravity down” mean for daily use?
The hydraulic cylinder lifts the bed; gravity drops it back. Simpler hydraulics, lower cost, no power-down control needed for typical contractor cycles. Trade-off: bed comes down at gravity speed, which can be abrupt with a heavy load.
